Leaving Lost Wages (Vegas)

The Letterman in Concert.
Thursday we just hung out at the condo and spent the day at the pool. After dinner we went down to the Strip and hit the hot spots. We watched the pirate show at Treasure Island Casino and then walked down to the Volcano show at the Mirage and then to the Cesar's Palace and walked through the building to the Robotic Statue Show. While we watched I had a 24 oz Pinacoloda and Lynn had a 24 oz Margarita then we tried to walk back to the strip and I here, honey I am dizzy. We walked it off getting home after midnight all tired out.

Sea Food galore at the buffet.
Friday we went grocery shopping at Walmart and Sam's Club to stock the motor home for our next road trip. We also went to the big Bass Pro Shop and looked around. After shopping we went to the pool and worked on our tans. Friday is our last night in town and we decided to go out to dinner and a show. We went to the South Point Casino and had their Friday night sea food buffet. The buffet was very good, they had Crab Legs, Shrimp, Oysters and Clams and three different kinds of fish. I only had crab legs, shrimp, baked potato, prime rib, Boston Cream pie and a hot fudge Sunday. OK so I am fat, so what. We then went to the Letterman Concert and had a great time singing to the old tunes and watching the show. Our concert tickets got us free drinks in the casino so we sat at the bar and had a drink and played the poker machine. It took us an hour to loose five bucks. It was late when we returned to the condo but it was a great night out. We left Las Vegas about nine this morning and are now in a campground about fifty miles from the Grand Canyon. We plan to take the car and drive up there Monday to check it out. Tomorrow we need to rest up from our week in Vegas. Doug my friend from Grand Rapids is supposed to stop and visit us sometime this weekend on his way to California to visit his son's. Until next time.
