OK they finally got the Marina moved, it only took four days. they will open the Marina up again tomorrow.We had a little surprise Thursday evening, we found out they were having a race event starting from Echo Bay with over 6000 runners. This is a two day relay race with twelve person teams running 195 miles in two days running around the clock. They will finish Saturday afternoon on the Strip in Vegas. They started running at six am this morning, so it got a little load with the huge crowd cheering and the load speakers blaring. Yesterday we took a ride over to Hoover Dam and checked out the new bridge. We spent today packing things up for our trip to Las Vegas tomorrow and listening to the race. We had Rich. Betsy and their daughter Rose over to our fire tonight and it was very enjoyable talking by the fire. Rose has had a very interesting career steering ships for the US Navy and the Merchant Marines all over the world. We are looking forward to a change of scenery in Las Vegas living in a large two bedroom condo with two full bathes and a full kitchen, it should feel like a Mansion after living in this hallway for two months. That about it until we hit the Casinos. Have a good one.
