Well it's February 3rd and it is 35 degrees here in Texas with ice on the roads. We have had some great weather in the 70s and 80s so we can't complain. Even with a few days of cold weather it is better than back home in Traverse City with five months of sub freezing weather and an average of 180 inches of snow each winter.We just love being out of the cloudy cold weather up north. This seven week visit to a 55+ retirement park has bee a good experiance. A lot people in the park have done the full time RV life style and settled here after a number of years of traveling. I would say the average age is 75 to 85 years old. Last year 14 people passed away from this park.
We are getting excited about leaving in our motorhome in August for eight months to see as much as we can of America.
